Day of Remembrance of the Victims of the Rwanda Genocide
Today is the official day of remembrance for the horrific genocide in Rwanda. It occurred in 1994, only 23 years ago. As the world watched, helpless or unwilling to help, more than 800,000 people were massacred over 100 days. Today, we invite you take a moment to think about just one life.
Here is a story from the USHMM of how one woman and her family were saved.

For anyone in New York, there will be a commemoration ceremony tomorrow, April 9th at the Museum of Jewish Heritage from 3 p.m.-5 p.m. It is free to attend. Perhaps we will see you there.
